Fuelmizer
Incorporating Air Induction Technology
I.P.O. Registered design No. 4008050.
Turbulence of the air fed to an Internal Combustion Engine is of vital importance to all types of engine, whether fuelled by Petrol, Diesel, or LPG. (See attached literature
from NASA, Para 5)
Turbulence speeds up the burning of the fuel/air mixture by increasing the flame propagation with all types of fuel.
A petrol vapour/air mixture actually burns quite slowly, in the order of a few metres a second. So a flame starting at a central spark plug would take around 10 milliseconds to
reach the edge of the combustion chamber. That does not sound long, however, at 6000
rpm the engine would have completed an entire revolution in that time! Burning needs to occur within around a tenth of a revolution to achieve reasonable efficiency.
To achieve this, air in the combustion chamber needs extreme turbulence, as this
will aid the flame to propagate much faster, giving a much improved burn, resulting in improved fuel economy, together with improved emissions.
In the case of Diesel engines, a high turbulence airflow promotes the mixing of the
air and fuel immediately before the compression burn takes place, again resulting
in an improved fuel burn, giving improved economy, together with improved emissions.
The Fuelmizer was designed to achieve this high turbulence effect. Its unique layout incorporates a number of twin-angled blades at given angles, together with a serrated trailing edge, giving an extreme turbulent, vortex type output with minimum restriction.
The device also provides a smoother running engine, together with increased flexibility,
allowing higher than normal gear usage, plus reduced ware.
The Fuelmizer locates in the air induction pipe between the Air Filter and the Turbo/Engine, after the Airflow Sensor when fitted. The device is of a one piece design and is non-moving. It requires no maintenance and can normally be fitted in around 10 minutes.
